Here at the Great Lakes Commission, we deliver information to support the orderly, integrated and comprehensive development, use and conservation of the natural resources of the Great Lakes basin and St. Lawrence River. We’ve developed this new Maps site to give you quick and convenient access to a wide range of mapping tools and data sets for the region.
Please take a few minutes to look around at some of what’s new here:
- Easy access to a growing database of GIS mapping layers
- Purpose built GIS applications that support Great Lakes Commission projects
- A new Great Lakes map viewer that helps you build maps with the data layers that are most useful to you
Check out the search tool at maps.glin.net for quick access to the map layers you need and then open them in the map viewer. Once you’re in the map viewer, search for and add new layers to customize your maps.
We’re interested in your feedback on the new site so please contact us with your suggestions.
